Kids Programs

The Devon Public Library offers a variety of Kids programs. Please see below for a listing of our ongoing programs.

Unless otherwise noted, all programs require registration by phone (780-987-3720) or email. Registrations for programs requiring payment must be made in person at the library.


Baby Bunting

Every Tuesday until May 30, 2017: 10:00 - 10:45 AM

A parent-child Mother Goose Program for ages 0 to 2 years old with caregiver.

This program focuses on the experience of adults and children enjoying the pleasure and power of using rhymes, songs, and stories together.  Parents will be introduced to baby sign language with their infant.

Magic Time

Every Wednesday until May 31, 2017: 9:30 - 10:30 AM

A Mother Goose Program for ages 2.5 to 4 years old with caregiver.

Through this program, language skills are developed to increase the child's reading readiness.

Magic Time Classics

Every Tuesday until May 30, 2017: 1:30 - 2:15 PM

For ages 4 to 5 years old with caregiver.

Explores the various adaptations or retellings of favourite folk tales, fairytales, and myths, expanding our understanding of the world.


A.I.M.B.O.T. LEGO Club

Tuesdays, April 25, May 9, May 23, June 13 and June 27, 2017: 4:00 - 5:30 PM

For ages 6 to 16 years old. Cost is $20.00 per child per meeting (covers the cost of materials).

Kids will be encouraged to use their imagination and creativity to solve problems and think outside the box. We need a minimum of 10 children registered per program so please register early.

Registration deadline is the Saturday before the workshop.
